Protection from abrasion and oxidation of aluminium during storage, shipment, etc. It produces a hard, smooth tightly adherent transparent gold coating which cures rapidly at ambient temperatures, has excellent resistance toward blocking, and is easily removed with alkaline stripping compounds.
