Based on the concept of “smart & high technology,” the functionality and presence are expressed with the minimum number of parts. The main material is titanium, which is lightweight and friendly to the human body, and seeks the next generation of glasses that are truly required. Kazuo Kawasaki

Born in Fukui City in 1949. Pisces, B-type, right-handed. Design Director from Industrial Design/Product Design. Designed for traditional crafts, glasses, computers, robots, nuclear power, artificial organs, and outer space. HUSAT = Human Sciences and Advanced Technology is used as a modeling language and a form language for “relativity between words and forms” by consilience design and resilience design.

Previously served as Good Design Award Jury Chairman. Many awards in Japan and abroad. Permanent collection and permanent exhibition at major museums overseas such as The Museum of Modern Art, New York. Selected twice as “100 Japanese people respected by the world” in “Newsweek Japan Edition”. Currently, we are discovering next-generation designers as the “Japan Stationery Awards” Jury Chairman, “DESIGN TOKYO” Jury Chairman, “Proto LAB” Jury Chairman, “Ship of the Year” Jury Committee Member.
