Masunaga Optical premiered its eyewear production back in Fukui Japan, 1905.

The birth of MASUNAGA since 1905 Collection pays tribute to the classic and timeless designs of Masunaga’s own historical frame. In 1933, Mr. Gozaemon Masunaga; founder of Masunaga Optical presented three solid gold frames to the Emperor of Japan. The frames presented to the Emperor of Japan back in 1933 was the source of inspiration of the “GMS”Gozaemon Masunaga SpectacleSeries we have today.
